OH! I forgot to mention we had a Baby!!

My lack of posting is not the result of a sudden disinterest in blogging. It is because on January 21, 2011 at percisely 12:00 pm (noon), Abram Scott Petersen came into the world. He weighed 7 lbs and 3 oz and was 20 inches long. Although he is a very happy baby, he is still a newborn and requires lots of attention and care.

I won't go into great detail about my labor. It's enough to say that it was long, painful and I have a great love for all those men and women who invented pain medication and who know how to administer it. But, it was worth it! Abram is a gem. We are so very glad to have him here and be a part of our family. Here are some pics at the hospital.

We call Abram our Angel baby. Here he is in the hospital. He's been a good sleeper from day one!

Noah and Naomi came to see Abram a few hours after he was born. Here is Noah sitting with me.

This is Noah and Naomi meeting Abram for the first time.

Grandma Artinger came to visit and help right after we got home from the hospital. This is her holding Abram at the park.

Noah has been a great big brother. He loves to hold Abram and does a great job!

We tried to take a few pictures before church. It didn't go very well. This is the best we ended up with!

Lastly, Mommy with Abram. Somehow we forgot to take pictures of me with Abram at the hospital. Tyler and I were both pretty tired after Abram was born. We spent our day and a half recovery at the hospital sleeping and watching the cooking channel.

I'll follow up with more pictures very soon!
